Sometimes our accessible 3D design does more than accessible replicas. Recently we have rebuilt the Donoho hotel that was lost in a fire accident in 2025.

The Donoho Hotel was a historic landmark in Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee, originally built in 1916 after its predecessor was destroyed by fire. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986. On November 11, 2025, the hotel was tragically destroyed in an electrical fire.

A few days after the accident, I got an email from one of their frequent visitors if we were able to recreate the building and make a 3D printed replica.
Time wasn’t on our side, because the first thing we do when we create a building replica is get information from Google Maps and Google Earth, but these pictures are frequently updated. Thus, we had to obtain some personal photos to recover most of the visual information. While we had many pictures, of course nobody was expecting the accident, thus it was hard to find photos from every aspect of the hotel. Aside from a few details at the back of the hotel, finally we managed to obtain enough information to make an attempt.

Fortunately, we were able to create a good representation of the building.

However, if you happen to have any other photos that could help us refine the existing details, please contact us.
