Description
Orientation: The main entrance is directed northwest into the building.
The building is “L”-shaped with a corner tower, consisting of a high ground floor + three stories and the attic. There are 5 doors leading into the building, with the main entrance located at the base of the tower. Additional entrances include a stairway entrance at the other corner on the side facing the tower, with one opposite each, the one on the left above the entrance for the disabled also being a stairway and opposite the tower a large arched rear entrance without stairs, and finally, there is another door in the bend of the building at a small section of the building. Starting from the entrance near the tower, 2 columns decorate each corner of the tower, which is technically partially submerged into the building. Its large arched entrance door is split with a wall section containing the inscription of the school. Above the entrance, there is a triangle shape characteristic of the building’s decoration, with three windows in the recesses decorating the tower, the middle one higher than the others. There are two rows of windows here, divided into three, the lower ones are not arched, the upper three have an arched top decoration. Moving upwards, there’s a large arched window in the center, whose upper part decorates the ledge which protrudes from a battlement decoration and slightly thickens the tower. The following three windows, which now encircle the tower on three sides, are topped with an arched decoration and are located above the roof line. On the fourth rear side, there’s only one door connected by a ramp to the upper, sloped roof section. Moving further up along the tower, between six smaller, arched windows, there is a corner tower with battlement decoration below the ledge, its base may taper towards the wall, its top correctly follows the octagonal shape of the tower and curves upwards with a slight break. The roof is adorned with four lookouts, each with a long, high peak like a cap decorating the top of the small window. The top part of the tower is reached after a series of ledges, with circular windows in the middle on all four sides, its top continues in the roof following two sets of triangle decorations, ending in a peak decorated with triangles.
Moving leftward, the levels of the building are decorated with ledges, with windows following closely which vary in shape depending on the level, either square or with arched top decorations. The walls are decorated with arched recesses in several places, and the upper row is typically like a bastion, ending with an arched recess on top. On this side, stairs lead up to the entrance on the left, with the first landing lower than halfway up, with a terrace part containing a window in between. The doors are flanked by two circular columns on an elevated platform, symbolically supporting the interior arch-shaped wall decoration outside showing a triangular form, which partly covers the top of the large arched window above, ending in a peak decoration. Here, instead of double windows, there’s a large arched window with arched decorated windows on either side, and the upper part of the facade is equipped with wall decorations that rise above the windows in an arch, with the top of the wall already at the roofline, followed by double windows, then a smaller circular window, and above it a large arched wall decoration. The top of the wall section is decorated with a triangle and five small tower decorations.
Continuing in this direction, the most notable change on the next wooden surface is the double wall decoration with triangular front walls now also decorating the attic. Among them, the roof features three doghouse windows. An interesting feature of the wall surface is the one window placed in a recess on each side.
The next wall section, near the entrance for the disabled, features a column of large, arched windows between a normal and a blind window, ending above in a relatively thinner roof section. A staircase leads up to the door on one side, below which the entrance is covered by its terrace, decorated with an arched window.
Next is the courtyard side. In its bend, there’s a wall section representing a small bastion, with narrower arched windows on the thinner side and wider than average on the thicker side, ending in a small bastion which concludes in a small space following the three doghouse windows, accessible through a door placed under a small sloped roof section, below the central square-roofed structure’s four windows. This is followed by a group of windows divided into three – two by two, then after a wall projection, changing to three by three. This division is only interrupted by the building’s large, arched rear entrance for a group of windows.
The main building is closely integrated with the buildings on the right. Therefore, this next wall section is not characterized by windows, only sporadically found. Its firewall-like wall is sporadically decorated with a few smaller windows, also adorned with a triangle-shaped dripstone.
In the middle, a section of the wall rises like a square tower, which already has a flat roof and continues on a lower flat roof where a small corner building can be found. The line of this is slightly interrupted by the main entrance tower, the tower here is simpler, apart from its top three windows, there are three elongated, thin windows with arched tops on the other side, and a column-like wall decoration below the ledge.
The roof is a complex one, on one hand following the lines of the walls both lengthwise and crosswise, and on the other hand, the windowed sections of the facade also project out from the form. Numerous dormer windows are found on it, all identical, except for the extreme double window facing the rear courtyard, which seems to merge with its pair. The wall continues from the tower with a small bastion decoration. The top edge of the roof is slanted, flat, after the lead-up from the tower there are only mechanical elements, then a transverse roof decoration is found, with the tent roof of the square roofed structure mentioned earlier in the corner break. On this side, there are numerous chimneys.
