The Wonder Years: Seminars@Hadley
Last December, I have shared my reflection about Stevie Wonder when he became the UN Messenger of Peace. If you liked my reflection, or you are a fan of Stevie Wonder, you maybe very interested in an online Seminar of the Hadley School for the Blind. Their guest is Ted Hull, the tutor of Stevie Wonder throughout Stevie's teenage years.
It is not just an accident that they invited Ted Hull, as he wrote a book, entitled "The Wonder Years: My Life & Times With Stevie Wonder".
I have to admit, I have never heard about this book. But as I read about the seminar this week, I picked it up, and could not stop reading it. It is fascinating to hear about Stevie's teenage years. The book is interesting, the reader gets to know two wonderful people, Stevie Wonder and Ted Hull. Ted Hull explains how Stevie was going through school while building his career and traveling all the time. I could talk more about it and could quote from it, but I would rather recommend that you get it as well as you tune in for the seminar.
The seminar is on Tuesday morning, so in case you miss it, the Hadley School for the Blind archives all seminars, so you can listen to it later. Most of the archives also contain an audio transcript.
